ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY To Shoot New Video

January 22, 2007

ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY has commenced work on the first video from its forthcoming record, "Open Fire". The video, for the track "Words of the Dying Man", is being shot in a "houseparty" setting in the band's hometown of Richmond, VA with local creative collective Day By Day (LAMB OF GOD, MUNICIPAL WASTE).

Commented ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY drummer Bryan Cox: "It'll be nothing too fancy or cerebral because, well, that's not what we do. The goal for this thing is have something entertaining and fun to watch."

In other news, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY has posted another preview track, "None Shall Return", from "Open Fire" on the band's official MySpace page.

Due on March 6 via Relapse Records, the CD was recorded at The Etching Tin Studios in Richmond, VA with engineer Ian Whalen and is the group's first record to feature new vocalist Kyle Thomas (ex-EXHORDER, FLOODGATE). Check out the cover artwork at this location.
